I don’t usually cover a lot of moe figures here, but when mega-popular illustrator Tony Taka and legendary sculptor Miyagawa Takeshi team up, it’s news worth reporting in my book. This is not their first collaboration, but it’s the first Clayz E*2 collaboration figure that’s been available since the long sold out Catgirl pair in 2010, which is sure to excite fans.

This original character unnamed school swimwear maid figure will be available in very limited quantities in two color schemes, just like the last pair.  The white version will be a E2 web exclusive and only available through special order, while the black is made available for wider release.

Either way, the maid figure will include a bonus Tony Taka illustration print of the original concept, which perhaps adds a bit of value for fans, with her 9,800 yen MSRP and measuring 11 x 14 cm. These figures have never been cheap, I’m afraid and they’re only going to go up considering how ravenous fans of both Tony and Takeshi tend to be.

If you’re a fan of her you’d better get your preorder in fast as there is a cutoff for orders on December 20. The figure is due out in March 2013.

The black version is available for international buyers from such reliable online stores such as Hobby Search and AmiAmi.

The white version is going to be a bit trickier, as it’s only available for Japanese buyers. You could try using a special order proxy service such as the ones from Celga or Shopping Mall Japan. Both companies have great customer service who should be able to answer your questions about special orders, should you choose to go this route. Good luck!
